I was actually at a Chappelle show here in Louisville a few years back where there were so many drunken hecklers in the audience he basically walked offstage less than 15 minutes into the show. My own hatred for Louisville aside, I really can't blame the man though.
ReplyDeleteDitko is a whole 'nother can of beans. He is my all-time favorite creator, by far. The Rob Imes-published fanzine Ditkomania! is a great resource (http://www.ditko-fever.com/dmreturns.html), full of letters from Ditko-loving pros like Dave Sim, Mort Todd, and Javier Hernandez.
I would love to see Steve Ditko interviewed by someone like Dave Chappelle. Would be fascinating...
